Online booking for tutors and one-to-one tuition
Marchlight takes appointments online for tutors and tuition centres, and sends reminders so fewer of them are missed. It costs $39 a month for the whole business, however many staff you have.
What a missed appointment costs a tutor
A missed lesson is an hour you cannot fill at short notice, and parents juggling several children forget.

Most missed appointments are forgotten, not cancelled on purpose. A confirmation, then a reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before with a link to move the slot, recovers many of them. We cannot promise a specific reduction for your business.
How it works for tutors and tuition centres
- One-to-one lessons by subject and length, across several tutors.
- Parents move a lesson from the reminder link instead of messaging late at night.
- Group classes with seat limits are not supported; it is for one-to-one sessions.

What it does not do
- No SMS or WhatsApp reminders. Reminders are email only.
- No deposits or payment collection at booking.
- No two-way Google Calendar or Outlook sync.
- One customer per appointment slot: no group classes with seat limits, and no room or table booking.
- It is a diary, not a client or patient record system.
